Kirk Michael Moore

Kirk Michael Moore, 66, of Marengo, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Kirk loved being outdoors on the water and in the woods; he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked as a control systems integrator and was known for being a Cincinnati Reds and Indiana Hoosiers fan.

Kirk was born on November 6, 1955, in New Albany, Indiana, to Jack and Nancy (Hollowell) Moore. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy "Evelyn" Moore; and grandparents, Everett and Iva Moore and Ralph and Ercel Hollowell.

Kirk is survived by his only child, Krystal Moore; father, Jack Moore; siblings, Kass (Barbara) Moore and Kristin (Leonard) Pierce; grandchildren Gage Vanallen and Hannah Sweet; and niece, Kylee Moore.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation was chosen by the family in honor of Kirk's wishes.
