Kip Michael Campbell, 67, passed away March 5, 2024 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born in Wheeling, WV, Kip was raised in a loving family, while frequently relocating from West Virginia to Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky.
Our family finally settled in Louisville, KY, where Kip graduated from Eastern High School, and later from Eastern Kentucky University, with a degree in Criminal Justice and was President of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Kip's loquacious personality guided him to a successful sales career in Medical Sales with two Fortune 500 companies, finishing his career in inside sales with Spectrum.
Kip never met a person he didn't like, or want to get to know. He was most fond of his Douglas Hills crew, many of whom appropriately called him "Mr. Fun", a true reflection of how he lived his life. He was a TV and movie aficionado, with an affinity for anything James Bond or Marvel. He was a fan of all sports and loved to play the ponies at Churchill Downs as well as other tracks around the country.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Campbell and Brother Robert III.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Marie Campbell, daughters Megan (Luke), Meredith (John), Natalie (Jason) and Courtney (Cory); three grandchildren, Nora, Quinn and Camilla; Mother, Lois; Brothers Kevin (Linda), Jon (Pam); two nieces, two nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10th at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel from 2 - 4 pm (235 Juneau Drive). A service to celebrate Kip's life will follow visitation at 4 pm that day at the funeral home. To view the service, please click
