Kingston Curry was born on December 26, 2021 to parents Aliyah Johnson and Lorenzo Curry, both of Louisville, KY. Kingston was such a sweet baby; always smiling, always laughing and full of love. One of the greatest loves in his life was his brother Major. The two were inseparable and enjoyed spending quality time together; playing, wrestling and watching videos.
Kingston found great pleasure in watching his favorite show, Gracie's Corner. The music, the colors, the letters and the characters were all captivating to him and he could watch Gracie all day. He also loved Boss Baby; perhaps that's who he was to all of us; cute, calm and in charge. He loved to hug and snuggle up to those who loved him most and had a giggle that illuminated a room.
Kingston was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother; Patricia Johnson, Great-Great Grandmother; Mary Alice Gibbs and Great-Great Grandfather; Ramone Gibbs.
Left to carry on his legacy, Kingston is survived by his mother; Aliyah Johnson, father; Lorenzo Curry, brothers; Major Curry, Monte Gordon and soon to be baby sister. He is also survived by his Grandmothers; Shelise (Honey) Harper (Robert Harper III), Nashawna Johnson (Timothy Gore), Grandfather; Irvin Johnson, Jr. (Nina Johnson), Great Grandmothers: Novena Gibbs, Mama Lola, Daphne Wallace, Great Grandfathers; Dwane Guess and Irvin Johnson, Sr. (Mary Ann) Aunt; Destiny Spencer, Uncles; DeJuan Guess, Trey Curry, Shawn Johnson and Christian Johnson, in addition to a host of cousins, extended family and friends who loved him immensely.
During his time with us, Kingston showed us the purest form of love. He made us smile and brought us the joy only the innocence of a child can bring. Though he was with us for a short time, he left his footprints on our hearts, our minds, our souls; and we will continue to honor him in all that we do. Sleep in peace our sweet baby boy.
