Kimberly Lynn Moorman

Kimberly Lynn Moorman, 60, passed away on October 16, 2022. She was born in Louisville, Ky and graduated from Stuart High School and then went on to pursue her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Louisville. Upon graduation she worked as a registered nurse for Norton Healthcare for over 36 years and was an active and longtime member of GracePointe Baptist Church formerly Valley Station Baptist Church.

She loved to spend time with her family and was happiest when she was with her children and granddaughter. She enjoyed chasing the beautiful world that God had given her through the sunrises and sunsets.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Tillman Fields.

Kimberly leaves her memories to be cherished by, her husband, Kyle Moorman; children, Tristan ( Graham) Moorman and Kelsey Moorman; granddaughter, Rory Moorman; mother Virginia (John) Gibson; brother, Greg (Denise) Fields; nieces, Sallie Ruff, Lindsay Cassaro and Katie Fields and nephew, Alex Fields.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4-8pm and Friday, October 21, 2022 from 10am-1pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, beginning at 1 pm at the funeral home.

Kimberly will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens- West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY after the celebration of her life.
