Kimberly Sue (Kays) Amburgey, 50, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed spending time outdoors.

She was born on August 28, 1971, to Carol (Wisenbaler) Kays and the late Thomas Kays. Along with her father, Kimberly was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda; and brother, Thomas.

In addition to her mother, Kimberly is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Adams (Corey) and Chelsey Mattingly (Channing); son, Travis Amburgey; brother, Brian Kays (Mandy); companion, David A. Uhl; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery, Georgetown, Indiana.
