Kevlin Demetrius Parker

Kevlin Demetrius Parker, 45, of New Albany, Indiana, first smiled at his parents and the world on February 5, 1977. His smile is now only for God, as he was called home on January 16, 2023, after a brief illness. He was known to many as a gentle giant.

He leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life his father, Larry Parker; mother, Marsha Kay Parker; brother, Cameron (Sherece) Parker; grandmother, Mary E. Hickman (Clifford Roberts); aunt, Alice (Charles) Parker-James; uncles, Walter (Theda) Hickman, Bryan (Yolanda) Hickman, and Fisher Parker, Jr.; nephew, Bryce Grant-Martin; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the funeral home with burial to follow at West Haven Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
