Kevin Lee Summers

Kevin Lee Summers, 62, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Kevin loved telling jokes, playing trivia games with his sons, and playing Euchre. He enjoyed remodeling with his dad, visiting the beach, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. Out of all his pastimes, Kevin enjoyed being with his family and friends the most.

He was born on December 31, 1958, in New Albany, Indiana, to Donald Summers and the late Barbara (Stewart) Summers.

Along with his dad, Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Judy (Lopp) Summers; sons, Dustin (Jenna) Summers and Shane (Nikki) Summers; daughter, Rebecca Fuson; grandchildren, Marissya Reisert, Mackenzye Reisert, Makendra Reisert, Payton Hartman, Hailey Hartman, Aubrey Summers, Hannah Summers, Landon Summers, and Lincoln Summers; brother, Eric Summers; nieces, Anastasia Summers and Victoria Summers; and companion, Emma.

Cremation was chosen in regards to Kevin's wishes. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, his Funeral Service will be kept private.

The family requests that contributions in Kevin's memory be made to the American Lung Association (10168 Linn Station Road, #100, Louisville, KY 40223).
