Kevin T. Patton

Kevin T. Patton, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Kevin was a former jockey and exercise rider at Churchill Downs. He loved his family and had a free spirit. He always loved horses and dogs. Kevin will truly be missed by all of his family and friends that knew him.

He was born on April 21, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to Clyde and Audrey (Johnson) Patton.

Kevin is survived by his loving family, Father, Clyde E. Patton, Mother, Audrey Ash, and Step-Mother, Wanda Patton; Daughter, Kristen Danielle (Matthew) Cooper; Granddaughter, Alexis Hodge; Brother, Gary Patton; Sister, Darlene Beam; 2 Nieces and 1 Nephew; Cousins, Yvonne (Bruce) Basham and James Johnson, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with Cremation to follow.

The family requests that contributions in Kevin's memory be made to Humane Society.
