Kevin Don Martin

Kevin was born to Clarence Otto Don Martin and Beatrice Ann Martin (Haseman) in Clinton County, Indiana. He was the first of three children. Kevin grew up in Corydon, Indiana and attended Corydon High School. Kevin met his wife, Charlene Marie Martin (Renfro) in 1996 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kevin had a love for racing and cars. Most of his career he worked as an Indy Car mechanic. In his spare time, he enjoyed refinishing furniture, woodworking, and carpentry. He also enjoyed managing his mini farm on 20-acres in Bedford, Kentucky.

His true passion was being "Pops" to his five grandchildren Colin, Parker, Emmett, Nora, and Quinn. This was apparent by his recent tattoo that showcased his children and grandchildren's names. He attended many sporting events, ballet recitals, and school functions to show his love and support.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Otto Don Martin. He is survived by his mother, Beatrice Ann Martin, his wife, Charlene Marie Martin, children, Kelsi (Aaron) Dennis, Katlyn Hamilton, Joshua Martin, and daughters, Julie (Chris) Griffith, Megan (Rob) Martin, Taylor Martin, his brother Kirk (Angela) Martin, sister Morgana (John) Brown, nieces, Kelsey Martin, Sydney Martin, Makenzie Martin, Mikayla Brown, and extended family.

Kevin will be cremated. The memorial service will be Friday, May 10, 2024, 2:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243.
