Kevin Wayne House, age 46 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 26, 2023. Kevin worked in the automobile business first for his father at Glenn's Cars Inc. and later worked for Craig & Landreth Cars. He was finance director for both companies. Kevin was well known as one of the best in the business. He was very successful. Kevin had many friends and business associates in Louisville and around the country. He was very intelligent and charismatic, and was well liked by so many. Unfortunately, later in his life, Kevin struggled with manic depressive and bipolar disorders. His illness kept him from being consistent in his personal and business life. His mother passed away two years ago and that devastated him as she was his whole world. After her passing, he could never get back to a place where he could work or maintain normal relationships. His highs were very high and his lows were intolerable. Unfortunately, Kevin passed away after a battle with alcohol and prescription drug overdose. He is now at peace and with his mother, brother and many more family members and friends that passed before him. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Rhodes; and brother, James Glenn House.
Kevin is survived by his two children, Elexis Pike and Christian House; brother, James Todd Gilbert; sister, Dr. Kelli Jones (married the day after his passing); his father, Glenn House; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Rest in peace, my son. You are loved more than you could ever know by so many.
