Kenneth D. Young, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020.
He was born on August 3, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward, Sr. and Lillian (Moore) Young. He is also preceded in death by his brother Harry Young.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Young, children; LaVelle McCarley, Da-Velle Mitchell, Lenia Clay, Akilah Young, grandchildren; Eric Radford, Erica Radford, Devontae McCarley, Dajon McCarley, Jordan Mitchell, Tenia Clayton (Hasan), Leila Hayes, Myron Cowherd, Jr. and Amari Miles. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, sister Constance "Connie" Crutcher (Robert), brothers Edward "Donnie" Young, Jr., Darryl "Niki Buzz" Young (Karin), David Young (Juwanda), Timothy "Timmy" Young (Corine) and adopted brother Chester Lewis.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Christ Temple Christian Life Center, (723 South 45th Street Louisville, KY 40211).
Visitation will also be Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Christ Temple Christian Life Center, (723 South 45th Street Louisville, KY 40211) with entombment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
