Kenneth Byron Stiff

Kenneth Byron Stiff, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Ken was born on October 23, 1940, in Hardinsburg, Kentucky (Breckinridge County) to the late Cecil and Lillian (Chappell) Stiff. He is also preceded in death by his sister Anna Guynd Lyons and brothers, Cecil Elroy Stiff and Charles David Stiff.
Ken graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines. Once he returned to Breckinridge County, he farmed, owned grocery and convenience stores, and was a Marathon Jobber. Ken was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church and later served as a Lay Pastor at Sample United Methodist Church. Ken enjoyed watching his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees.
Ken is survived by his wife Sue; children, Missi Aull, Jill Pence, and Kyle Stiff; grandchildren Tyler and Lauren Pence; sister, Betty Sue Brooks; brother-in-law B.W. Lyons; sister-in-law Marilyn Jo Stiff; 5 nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Ken's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville, 6200 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40205.
