Kenneth Eugene Risen

Kenneth Eugene "MoJo" Risen, 51, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 31, 2018. Kenny was an honorary member of the 75th Infantry Airborne Rangers. He loved spending time outdoors, hiking, camping and was an active member of the Derby City Descenders, Kenny was an excellent master carpenter who was very outgoing. He had a free-spirit and could always make you laugh and if he had a dime you would have a nickel. Kenny's world was his family who he loved with all of his heart. Fly high Superman!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Theresa Herman.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Lisa Risen; daughters, Bayly (Eric) Jameson, Megan Howlett; step-father, Gene Risen; brothers, Roger (Beth) Risen and Chris (Jennifer) Risen; nieces and nephews, Noah Risen, Hailee Risen, Alex Risen, Samantha Risen, Austin Risen and Tristan Risen and a host of cousins, close friends and all his fur-babies.

A gathering for Kenny will be Monday, November 5, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-6pm with a celebration of Kenny's life beginning at 6pm.
