Kenneth Joe Reed

Kenneth Joe "Kenny" Reed, 64, of Creola, Alabama, formerly of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on April 21, 2021. Kenny's hands showed the wear from a lifelong career in the auto body business. He was musically inclined and a natural when it came to playing the guitar. Kenny enjoyed home brewing and riding his motorcycle and was a member of the American Legion Post 88.

He was born on September 23, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, to Annetta (Breeden) Reed and the late Jerry Reed. In addition to his mother, Kenny is survived by his daughter, Nikki (Reed) King (Chris); grandchildren, Peyten Reed and Zak King; siblings, Jerry Reed, Jeff Reed (Tina), Gina (Reed) White (Bob), and Jon Reed; as well as many nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Nico.

Cremation was chosen, and a reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a memorial service taking place at 6:00 p.m.

Contributions in Kenny's memory may be made to the Official Humane Society of Clark County (2702 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
