Kenneth J. "Ken" Mayberry, Jr., 67, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He retired from Louisville Gas and Electric after 34 years of service. Ken was a very talented and skilled electrician who had a great sense of humor and enjoyed the outdoors.
Ken was born on September 8, 1944 in New Albany to the late Kenneth J. and Louise (Newby) Mayberry, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Michelle M. (Mancini) Mayberry; sons, Kenneth J. Mayberry III (Vanessa), Cody Mayberry (Bobbi); sisters, Linda Sue Russell (David), Pam Couch (Jim); granddaughters, Samantha Mayberry and Brianna Elmore.
Cremation was chosen following Ken's wishes. A Memorial Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 7 PM.
Contributions in Ken's memory may be made to the Foundation for Fighting Blindness - Louisville Chapter (1580 S. Milwaukee Avenue, Suite 606, Libertyville, IL 60048).
