Kenneth "Kenny" Hoagland

Kenneth "Kenny" L. Hoagland, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Kenneth was an avid UofL fan, loved fishing, long country drives with his wife, antiques/yardsales, and their dog Reba, and going to gamble with Richard and Carl. He will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on August 31, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ben and Thelma (Seattles) Hoagland. He is preceded in death by his Father, Ben Hoagland, Mother, Thelma Hoagland, Wife, Betty Hoagland, Siblings, Betty Scruggs, and Joe Hoagland.

Kenneth is survived by his loving family, Step-Son, Tommy Friel, Step-Daughter, Darlene Friel (Chris Carson), Grandchildren, Jordan Friel, Emma Friel, and John Carson; Great-Grandchildren, Amya, Paisley; Brother-In-Law, Richard Bassett (Carl Hall), as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
