Kenneth Ray Buckner, Jr.

Kenneth Ray Buckner, Jr., 47, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Kenneth was very creative and enjoyed writing poetry, drawing and making things out of wood. He enjoyed throwing axes and knives, attending various car shows, and playing guitar. Kenneth was thoughtful and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In his youth, he enjoyed playing basketball, football and baseball. Kenneth will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on March 9, 1976 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kenneth and Deborah (Jewell) Buckner. He is preceded in death by his sister, Katrina Kay Buckner; father, Kenneth Ray Buckner; Sr.; step-father, Robert Charles Allen; grandmother, Helen Francis Jewell; and grandfather, Carl David Jewell, Sr..

Kenneth is survived by his loving family, mother, Deborah Kay Allen; daughters, Savannah Buckner, Hailey Buckner; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel.
