Kelly Browning, a dedicated welder and fabricator, passed away on February 21, 2025, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on April 27, 1969, he grew up in Crestwood, where he became an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. Kelly was a proud graduate of Oldham County High School, class of 1987.
Throughout his life, Kelly's spirit was marked by his love for nature and the beach, providing him with a sense of peace and joy. He cherished the time spent with his beloved grandchildren, Joshua Peralta and Isley Parks, and delighted in the company of his family. His warmth and kindness will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Kaitlin Parks (Tyler), his mother, Diane Browning, and his brothers: Chris Browning (Kim), Kerry Browning (Kenna), and Brad Browning (Mary). Kelly also leaves behind his cherished nephews, Cameron Harrod (Autumn) and Connor Browning, along with his niece, Kelsie Lewis (Dillon). Additional family members who held a special place in his heart include his uncles, Michael Patterson and Tony Patterson (Debbie), his cousin, Amanda Kaufman (Billy), and his stepmother, Teresa Browning.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Browning. His remarkable life touched many, and those who knew him will forever remember him for his adventurous spirit and loving nature.
Per Kelly's wishes cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held privately.
The family requests that contributions in Kelly’s memory be made to Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
