Kaylan Suzan Garcia, age 16, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was an adored daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend, whose bright spirit touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kaylan had an irresistible smile that could light up any room and a sweet personality that brought joy to those around her.

Born on April 23, 2008, to Consuelo Garcia in Louisville, Kaylan's passions included her love for Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch," as well as enjoying the latest Tik Tok videos and shopping, particularly at Dillards. She enjoyed listening to hispanic music and creating lasting memories with her family. Her laughter and zest for life will resonate in the hearts of those who cherished her.

Kaylan is survived by her loving family, including her devoted mother, Consuelo Garcia; her step-father, Pedro Orantes; and her siblings: Orlando Garcia, Walter Garcia, Claudia Orantes, and Carla Garcia. She will also be remembered fondly by her brother-in-law, Otto Molina; nieces, Ashley Orantes and Samira Molina; nephew, Gael Molina; as well as her aunts& uncles, Augusto Garcia, Estela Hernandez, Sandy Garcia, Fernando Garcia; cousins, Billy Garcia, Dulce Garcia, Emily Garcia, David Gutierrez, Michelle Gutierrez; and her beloved God-parents, Arcelica Orantes and Orlando Espinoza. Kaylan's legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched through her kindness and affection.

Visitation for Kaylan will take place on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
