Kay Francis Farmer

Kay Francis Farmer, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away in her home surrounded by those closest to her on Monday, October 7, 2024. She was born in Annetta, Kentucky on January 6, 1938, to the late Alvey Napper and Audrey Brooks Napper.

She was a beloved and devoted mother, sister, and wife. In addition to her parents and siblings, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Farmer; and her son, Eric Lee Farmer, who lovingly called her "The Queen of the Moms."

Kay is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kay Farmer; niece, Leah Elizabeth; and nephews, Elijah Daniel and Jonathan Joel. Kay is also survived by her best friend since childhood, Louella Napper, as well as a host of other family members and friends.

Kay brought comfort and peace to those who were in need of it. She was a mother to many and those who knew her were blessed to have called her, "Mom."
