Katrena Lynn Jacobi

Katrena Lynn Jacobi, 48, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. She was born on July 24, 1974, in Jacksonville, Florida. Katrena was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. After her military service, she went on to work in the development industry. After that, Katrena went to work in the rail industry, and she took pride in the career that she built with Siemens. Her dedication to furthering her education led her to a bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017. Beyond her achievements, Katrena enjoyed reading and dearly loved her pets. She had a passion for Van Gogh paintings, everything Disney, and fairies. Katrena loved to travel and play video games and was always ready to help her husband find the perfect car or part for his hobby of auto restoration.

Katrena is survived by her loving husband, Jerome Jacobi; father, David Hosted; mother, Linda (Dennis "Butch") Pettigrew; son, Tyler Jacobi; daughter, Casey Jacobi; sisters, Tabitha (Dan) Frey, Sabrena (Toby) Ross, and Melinda (Keith) Lumpkin; nieces, Sara Ross, Lisa Ross, and Amber Frey; and nephew, Eric Frey.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
