She was born on July 27, 1953 in Morganfield, Kentucky to George and Martha (Hazel) Blanford. She is preceded in death by her Father, George Anthony Blanford, Mother, Martha Madeline Blanford, Siblings, Tony Blanford, and Connie Blanford.
Kathy is survived by her loving Husband of 42 years, Paul Joseph Spalding; Sons, Henry Travis Spalding, Paul Euell (Amber) Spalding, Anthony Joseph (Katie) Spalding, and Justin Brock (Brandi) Spalding; Grandchildren, Tadgh Spalding, Colm Spalding, Maeve Spalding, Jayden Spalding, Gavin Spalding, Owen Spalding, Avery Spalding, and Madelyn Spalding; Siblings, Patsy (Thomas) Duke, Flavia (Alan) Morris, Joseph (Shellie) Blanford, Evelyn Robinson, Martha Blanford, and Cousin, Annie (Marvin) Fritz, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am CST on Tuesday, at St. Anthony Catholic Church (1256 St. Anthony Rd. Clarkson, KY 42726) with burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery Catholic Church in Clarkson, KY.
The family requests that contributions in Kathy's memory be made to Dare to Care or St. Anthony Catholic Church (1256 St. Anthony Rd. Clarkson, KY 42726).
