Kathy Merideth Smith

Ms. Kathy Merideth Smith, 70 of Louisville, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2022. She was born April 6, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky. Kathy was a hard worker and dedicated Mother, Sister, Aunt and Great Aunt. Kathy was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, where she loved spending time and working in the church. She was a Teacher's Assistant at Wade Shacklette Elementary School for many years.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents William Sherman Merideth & Francis Golladay Merideth, and grandparents.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Penny Lynn Smith, sister, Denise Merideth (Rick Jones) of Louisville, brother, Danny (Patricia) Merideth of Bardstown; nephew, Chris (Jackie) Merideth of Louisville; niece, Angela "Nickie" Merideth-Hager (Michael); great nephews, Aaron, Alex, Hunter, and Fisher; great niece, Makayla.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June, 10, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Ormsby Heights Baptist Church (2120 Lower Hunters Trace, Louisville, KY 40216). Her Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 10 at 1:00 pm at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
