Kathy LeAnn (Auls) Schroeder, 77, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. She retired from Wave 3 News in Louisville and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
She was born on June 23, 1945, in Franklin, Kentucky, to Lee and Herman (Neal) Auls. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Schroeder.
Kathy is survived by her sons, Daren Schroeder (Brandice) and Harold Schroeder; and granddaughter, Madalyn Longest.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Reception (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a graveside service to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
