Kathy L. (Smith) Farnsley
Kathy L. (Smith) Farnsley, 53, passed away Monday morning, September 13, at her residence in New Albany, Indiana. She was a member of Jacob's Chapel United Methodist Church in New Albany. Kathy's passion was babysitting, and she loved children.
She was born on June 18, 1957 to Charles and Mary Jo (Regot) Smith in New Albany.
Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Brian C. Farnsley; daughters Jessica Farnsley, Elizabeth Farnsley, and Mary Jo Farnsley, all of New Albany; brother Mark A. Smith and his wife, Donna, of Milltown, Indiana; and grandchildren, Caleb Farnsley,Savanah Allen-Farnsley and Ian Allen Farnsley.
Her visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (formerly Generations Funeral Home), 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. The Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Thursday, September 16 in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr., Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
The family requests that contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to Jacob's Chapel United Methodist Church in New Albany or the American Cancer Society.
