Kathy Louise Gregory

Kathy Louise Gregory, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. Kathy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She had a kind and warm personality. Kathy was a dedicated employee of Norton Kosair Children's Hospital and had a true passion for caring for her patients. She was a Christian by faith and had a deep relationship with the Lord. Kathy had a compassion for all animals and enjoyed caring for them. She loved to vacation near the ocean any chance she had. Most importantly, she adored her family. Kathy never missed a family function and enjoyed taking pictures at every event. Kathy will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 28, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky to Billy and Vivian (Worman) McBay. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy McBay; mother, Vivian McBay; and son, Donald Ray Gregory, Jr..

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Donald Ray Gregory, Sr.; grandson, Shawn (Shelby) Gregory; sister, Kimberly (Tony) Walker; brother, David Waldron; a great-grandchild on the way, Harper Gregory; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home will burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
