Kathryn White

Kathie went to be with her Lord and Savior December 1, 2012.
She was born April 10, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents. Kathie is survived by her loving husband, Bruce White, her sister Sue Carter Baker of California, a brother Curtis Raleigh Carter and several caring cousins.
Kathie graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, class of 1974. She attended Tennessee Temple College in Chattanooga Tennessee.
Kathie worked at Indiana University for 23 years as a payroll clerk. She is a member of Vine Hill Baptist Church. Kathie has always been involved in various churches and volunteered her time in VBS and Heart 2 Heart Ministries with her husband.
She loved gardening, canning, Civil War history and talking to people about the Lord. She is also a Bluegrass enthusiast, whom started the company Where the Grass Grows, to inform folks worldwide of what is happening in the Bluegrass Music Realm. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Vine Hill Baptist Church, Hwy. 245 Shepherdsville, KY. 40165, with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Washington, KY. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m.
