A proud alumna of Galen College of Nursing and Indiana Wesleyan University, Kathrina exemplified a relentless drive for growth, always eager to learn and achieve more. She fervently encouraged others to embrace their own journeys of self-improvement and development, radiating an infectious enthusiasm that inspired many. Her caring nature and ability to uplift those around her made her a beloved figure among her colleagues and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Chakyra Smith and Ahrea Thompson; parents, Claretha and Raymond Smith; brother, Raymond (Shalita) Smith, III; nieces and nephews, Jalen Crooms, Rayia Smith, Ernest Bradley, Raymond Smith, IV and Sharae Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on December 28, 2024, at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, where family, friends, and those whose lives she touched can come together to remember and celebrate her vibrant spirit. The service will commence at 12:00 PM and conclude at 2:00 PM.
