Kathleen Marie Weilage passed away Saturday morning, March 7, 2009. A true lover of animals and children, Kathy will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and William Weilage, brother Charles Weilage, and her dog Kodi. She was employed by Adath Jeshurun Synagogue.
Kathy is survived by her sisters, Lisa Ali, Susan Hart and Sandy Cook, half-sister; Annabelle Brock; brothers, Ronald Shir (Amy), Jeff Weilage and David Weilage; nieces, Terry Searcy (Trevor), Erin Weilage, Shelonda Darling (Dan), Summer Moreland, and Miriam Shir; nephews, Brian Weilage, Troy Weilage, and Gabriel Shir; and Frannie, her loving dog.
A celebration of Kathy's life will be 2 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Ky . Visitation will be from 11 am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus. Online condolences may be made at www.Newcomerlouisville.com .
