Kathleen Ruth LeMaster, 77, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Kathleen had a heart to help and care for others, which was shown through her service in LeMaster Ministries and Canines for Christ. She was a member of Eastside Christian Church. She loved the Lord and her family more than anything.
She was born on January 15, 1945, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Ralph and Evelyn (Fife) Walton. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Edling; second husband, Bud Howland; and brothers, Paul and Homer Walton.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, John A. LeMaster; children, Dana (Todd) Stocksdale, Trent (Marie) Edling, Chris (Patti) Howland, Anne (Jason) London, John Mark (Julie) LeMaster, Greg (Mary) LeMaster, and Shawn (Jill) LeMaster; stepson, Lawrence (Anita) Worley; brother, Wayne Walton; grandchildren, JC (Jen) London, Phillip London, Elizabeth (Channy) Chun, Hayden (Anna) Howland, Katherine (Jerrod) Martin, Evan (Danielle) Howland, Logan Howland, Hannah (Will Mayberry) Enlow, Sydney Stocksdale, Hadley Enlow, Haven Enlow, Gwen Edling, Trinity Edling, and Adler Edling; 9 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her faithful canine companions, Ben, Ezra, and Prince.
A Memorial Gathering will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Kathleen's wishes.
