Kathleen Bruner

Kathleen "Kathy" Bruner, 68, passed away on January 4, 2015. She was a long time resident of the Carpenters apartments in the Georgetown Neighborhood for the past 35 years. She walked beside God everyday of her life and inspired everyone who's life she touched. She never met a stranger. She was an avid UofL sports fanatic and loved anything to do with her Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Tina Lynn Bruner-Kraha.
She is survived by her children, Roy "Dean" (Sandy) Bruner and Robert "Bobby" Bruner; son-in-law, David Kraha; grandchildren, Christiana Calvert Meyer, Tanya Twyman Williams, Ashley Nicole Bruner, Roy Bruner, Jr., Marcus Jaden Eason and Gabriel Matherly; step-grandchildren, Robert Worman and Brandon Worman; great-grandchildren, Ellemaye Nicole Bruner; sister, Louise and brother, David "Buster" Rogers.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 11, 2015, from 1pm-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of life for Kathleen will be Monday, January 12, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home at 11am.
Interment will be at Louisville Cemetery, 1339 Popular Level Road, Louisville, KY.
