Kasey M. Kays

Kasey M. Kays, age 22 of Louisville, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014. He graduated from Trinity High School and attended University of Louisville and Jefferson Community College. He attended St. Bernard Catholic Church and was recently baptized at Northeast Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his his step-father, Chuck Ackhoff, grandparents, Jewell and Richard Kays, uncle Kim Kays, cousin Ronnie Tucker.

Kasey is survived by his son, Noah Wyatt Kays; mother, Lynda Michelle Malone; father, Kevin Kays; sister, Amanda Wooten (Jeremy); grandparents, John and Rita Malone; aunts, Nancy Price, Patty Whyte (Jeff), Kellie Kays Thompson (Tom), Karrie Kays Hough (Bruce), Mary Carol Kays; uncles, Steve Malone, Keith Kays (Danielle) and Kirk Kays (Cleo); niece, Emily Wooten; cousins, Ashley Whyte, Matthew Whyte, Jordan Price (Rosie), Jessica Sookal (Darren), Sarah Malone, Becky Tucker Snyder (Bruce), Greg Tucker, Tucker Gilmer, Jeremy Gibson, Molly and Sara Kays, Cody Kays, Allison Kays, Olivia and Dillon Hough, Kylie Thompson, Corey Thompson, Jim and Sharon Kays, and Lydia and Terry Butt; second cousins, Natalie Bloomer and Amelia Price. Kasey is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12pm Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2-8pm and Saturday 9:30am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
