Karen Cecil Pinkston

Karen Cecil Pinkston, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky went to be in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 17, 1957 to Emma Della Cecil and the late Thomas Lucian. She was a member of Grace Faith and Worship.

Karen is survived by her mother, Della Cecil; a daughter, Jami (Jeremy) Avis; the love of her life, her grandsons, Cayden and Brycen; siblings, Bonnie (Curtis) Farley, Grace (Tom) Brown, Cherie Kenney, Debbie (Tim) Dyer, Lena (Brad) Roff and Tom Cecil; a special aunt, Geneva; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; her faithful companions, Reggie and Boo; and a host of other family members and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 1:30 on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
