Karen Lynne Lyle

March 16, 1959 — April 5, 2021

Karen Lynne Lyle, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021. Karen was a devout Christian and she traveled to Bosnia twice for her devotion to Mother Mary. She loved spending time with her family. She loved the outdoors boating, camping, and having bonfires. She did a lot of volunteer work for her church and her community. She was a Girl Scout Troop leader for 3 years. She will truly be missed by anyone and everyone that had the honor and pleasure of meeting her.

She was born on March 16, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Raymond and Joanne (Albrecht) Ehman. She is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Ehman and step-sister, Sherri Madden.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Eric V. Lyle; father, Raymond Ehman, mother, Joanne Zimmerman; children, Amy Ehman and Tracey Reynolds; grandchildren, Jordan, Katie, Allie, and Spencer; great-grandchild, Hayden; siblings, Frank (Emma) Ehman, David Ehman, and Marie Clompton; step-brothers, Glenn (Cindy) Smith and Michael Smith. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Memorial Service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Karen's memory be made to Alzheimer's Association.
