Karen Elizabeth Lester, age 61 of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pewee Valley. She loved to travel, sewing and was devoted to her family. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, William and Tillie Durham.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Christie Lester; grandchildren, Sierra, Sydney and Malachi Lester; sister, Alisa Braggs (James); brother, John Durham; nephews, Jeffrey and Jadidah; niece, Sherry; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Thursday, July 21, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Pewee Valley, 7102 Old Floydsburg Road, Pewee Valley, KY. with service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Pewee Valley Cemetery East.
Memorials may be made to the family.
