Karen D. Carroll

Karen D. Carroll, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Karen was a loving mom, memaw, sister, aunt, and friend. She was very outgoing person who always spoke her mind and was always the life of the party. She always loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids. She was an avid UK fan and American Idol Fanatic. She loved to make people laugh and would do anything for the ones she loved.

She was born on February 14, 1965 in Lebanon, Kentucky to James and Mary (Mattingly) Carroll. She is preceded in death by her Father, James M. Carroll, Sr., Mother, Mary Jane Mallette, Son-In-law, Anthony G. Brown, and Beloved dog, Stone Carroll.

Karen is survived by her loving family, Children, Brittany N. Brown, Justin R. Pryor, and Kayla J. Pryor; Grandchildren, Andrew R. Brown, Aiden T. Brown, Keegan J. Clark, and Elliana M. Clark; Brothers, James M. (Yvonne) Carroll, Jr. and Gary L. Carroll; Beloved dog, Smokey Carroll, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
