Karen Burnette Parrish

Karen Burnette Parrish, 60, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014, with her family by her side. She attended Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was a 1972 graduate of Presentation Academy and retired from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department after 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Parrish.
She is survived by her son, Robert Burnett; mother, LaVerne Parrish; sisters, Janet Benson, Mary Sue Frost and Janie Williams and her brother, Joseph Parrish.
Visitation for Karen will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). Funeral services will Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel.
Interment will be at St. Michaels Cemetery, 1153 Charles Street, Louisville, KY
