Kara Lynn Phelps, 55, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Kara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren. She loved doing crafts including painting and ceramics. Kara's whole life revolved around her children and was selfless at heart. She was the most loving and forgiving individual anyone has ever known. Kara was hardworking and loving, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was born on December 3, 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky to Alfred and Ada (Foote) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, John Phelps, and Brother, Alfred Wilson, Jr.
Kara is survived by her loving Daughters, Erica (Kevin) Fay, and Jessica (Danny) Smith, Step Daughter, Cassie Searcy, Brother, James Wilson. Kara also leaves behind to cherish her memory 13 Grandchildren and a host of Friends and Extended Family.
