Kaden Allen Book

Kaden Allen Book, 6, of Borden, Indiana, went home to be with The LORD whom he loved on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He was passionate about everything in his life, especially his faith and knowledge of The Bible. Kaden enjoyed helping his parents on the family farm, gardening, working on tractors, helping in the kitchen, and tending to his farm animals.

Kaden was born on November 25, 2006 to Kevin A. and Halie Jo (Mattison) Book. Along with his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Mattison, Elijah, Helen-Rose Book; grandparents, Bill Jr. and Barbara Book, Jerry and Ann Mattison; great-grandparents, Bill Sr. and Ruth Book, Douglas and Marian Byers; aunts and uncles, Jason, Rick Book (Amanda), Mandy Shireman (Ben), Jaime Coon (Paul), Adam Mattison (Jessica), Caleb, Luke, Levi Mattison. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Karen Book.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 12 to 7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Burial will be private at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Borden, Indiana. His Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday at Graceland Baptist Church (3600 Kamer Miller Road, New Albany).

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the entire community for their love and support over the last year. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
