K. Alex Davis

K. Alex Davis, 27, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. She was born on April 22, 1996 in Twentynine Palms, California. Alex was a 1st Degree Black Belt in Karate and a member of an award-winning NROTC Rifle Team. She attended the J. B. Speed School of Engineering and Purdue Polytechnic Institute. Alex had a caring heart and even through her struggles was able to support others through theirs.

Alex is survived by her wife, Shirley "Tae" Day; parents, Kathryn Davis-Lichtenberger (John), and Christopher Davis (Christine); siblings, Jaqueline Lichtenberger, Andrew Davis, Amethyst Lichtenberger, and Zachary Davis; aunts, Regina Simpson, Megan Reid (Shaun), and Rachel Kleimeier; uncle, Dane Brown; and grandparents, Rodney & Debbie Brown, and Mike & Marissa Davis.

Visitation will be from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
