Justina Carrasquillo

Justina Aida Carrasquillo, 73, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt passed away, surrounded by family Friday evening, July 16, 2010 at her home. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Hector Carrasquillo; children, Hector L. Carrasquillo and his wife Peggy, Geraldine Smith and her husband Everett, Julie Carrasquillo and her husband Eric, Luis Rafael Carrasquillo and Dominic "Nic" Morales and his wife Sheila; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her brother, Luis Rafael and her sisters Rita, Carmin and Carmen.

Her visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Monday, July 19, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana (formerly Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany with entombment to follow in the church cemetery.

The family request that donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to St. Vincent DePaul Society, In Heaven's Eyes or the cancer research center of the donors choice.
