Justin Wallace Wade, 37, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012. Graduated as salutatorian from Borden High School in 1993, Justin held a bachelor's degree in aviation from Emery-Riddle. Justin was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Starlight. He was a flight instructor and pilot at Happs Airport in Clarksville and a computer technician for M& M Office Products in Sellersburg. Justin was a member of the NRA and K of C Cardinal Ritter Council #1221 in New Albany. Known by many, loved by all, Justin's battle with cancer was the epitome of strength, determination, and courage. Unconditional love and devotion to his family and friends made him the beloved son, brother, husband, father, nephew, cousin, and friend that he was.
Justin was born on March 25, 1975 in New Albany to Gary and Darita (Jackson) Wade. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wallace Wade, and grandparents, Ralph and Leona Jackson.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of eight years, Sally A. (Emery) Wade; children, Alice and Johnathan Wade; brother, Jason Wade (Jennifer); sister, Jennifer Pierce (Michael); grandmother, Anita Wade; nieces and nephews, Gavin Just, Harrison Wade, Selby and Jackson Pierce, and Adelie and Caleb Tegart; parents-in-law, David and Nancy Emery; brother-in-law, John Emery; and sister-in-law, Carrie Tegart (Mark).
Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2012 with a Prayer Service at 7 PM at the Forest Discovery Center at Koetter Woodworking, Inc. (533 Louis Smith Road, Borden, IN 47106). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (8310 St. John's Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
