Justin August Kase (Frank Henry), 55, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away on June 5, 2023. The cause of death was injuries sustained in a car accident.
Justin was born on November 25, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was adopted as an infant by Donald F. and Nancy M. Henry and was given the name Frank M. Henry, a name he legally changed later in life to Justin A. Kase. He grew up in Louisville. Some of Justin's fondest memories were summer trips made to San Diego, California to visit his beloved Uncle Jack. He had an abiding love of animals and was attracted to Buddhism and vegetarianism. Although he did not finish high school, he received a GED equivalent and also trained as paralegal. Over his life he had many occupations including running his own landscaping company and managing rental properties. He excelled at electrical and plumbing work and might be described as a talented jack of all trades. He met and fell in love with Asia Ludlow. Together they had his beloved daughter Italia, who remained the light of his life. He welcomed the role of "Grampy" to Italia's children London and Lincoln. Justin had a profound curiosity about all things. He loved learning and language. He was devoted to crossword puzzles and attending Trivia Nights. Dogs were his constant companions and one of his greatest pleasures was taking JuJu and Dottie to local dog parks. Justin will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Justin is survived by his daughter, Italia Ludlow (Rebecca); grandchildren, London and Lincoln Ludlow; sister, Nancy Henry.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald F. Henry, and his mother, Nancy M. Henry.
