June Elizabeth Hamilton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of June Elizabeth Hamilton. She passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on July 7, 2023. She was born on June 11, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. June had many things that she loved to do in life. Spending time with family was at the top of the list. June especially loved when all the family would get together to make a big Lebanese dinner with all of her old recipes. She also had a passion for painting beautiful pictures, writing poetry, and loving on her dogs. June was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Shaheen and Viola Hardesty.

June is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Rennirt and Denise (Mike) Osbourne; granddaughters, Brittney (James) Armstrong and Lindsay (Tim) Whitfill; and great grandchildren, Gracie, Avery, and Dawit Armstrong and Reese, Ellie, Weston, and Luke Whitfill; and a host of family and friends.

A gathering to celebrate June's life will be from 4 to 7pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
