June Annette (Killebrew) Dukes
June 13, 1942 — July 5, 2022
June Annette (Killebrew) Dukes, 80, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. She was a faithful Christian woman with an infectious laugh, who enjoyed sharing her talents of singing and songwriting.
She was born on June 13, 1942, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Ammon and Gladys (Jones) Killebrew. June was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward Killebrew. June is survived by her siblings, Barbara Robertson, Wanda Eversole (James), Dwight Killebrew (Linda), Darlene Dady, Juanita Morgan (James), and Zela Fugit; sister-in-law, Norma Killebrew; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
The family would like to thank the staff at Maple Manor Christian Home for the tender love and care that they provided to June over the last decade.
June had a love for animals, especially cats. The family requests that contributions in her memory be made to the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter (201 Willinger Lane, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
