Julia Rae, 56, of Louisville, KY., passed away, December 3, 2012. Being a child care provider was of great importance to her throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mina Profumo as well as her sister, Denise. Her survivors include her husband of nearly 18 years, Hilton Pitcock; her daughter, Danielle Durham; grandchildren, Tony, Miko and Timmy; brothers, Ron, Mike and Jeff Profumo; sisters, Ruth Ott and Phyllis Profumo; and special mention of Louise Atherton, whom Julia cared for deeply.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2012 at Providence Baptist Church, 240 N. Sanders Lane, Brooks, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville. Online condolences may be made at www.newcomerlouisville.com.
