Judy Laverne Stivers

Judy Laverne Stivers, 64, passed away on April 6, 2024. She loved to be in her garden, digging in her flowers. Judy also loved to feed her hummingbirds and watch them play. She always had a loyal dog by her side and most importantly she enjoyed being with her family and grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Maupin and her parent in-laws, Dorothy and Hugh Stivers.

Judy leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jeff Stivers; daughters, Stacey (Matthew) Vaught and Lisa (Tony Watson) Stivers; grandsons, Conrad "Big Boy" Vaught and Levi Watson; mother, Dorothy Maupin; siblings, Donna Hodges and Rickey Maupin and her sisters-in-law, Jenni Metzger and Teresa Corden.


Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 12pm-2:30pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A graveside service will follow visitation at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery, 8405 Pennsylvania Run Road, Louisville, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Kentucky Humane Society, www.kyhumane.org/donate in Judy's honor.
