Judy Owens, 60, of Louisville, passed away on April 27, 2015. Judy was born on May 25, 1954, in Tompkinsville, KY to the late John and Clarice Starnes. Judy graciously volunteered her time with many charities through the years, and she loved being a grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include Judy's husband of 43 years, Wayne Owens; two sons, Shane Owens (Mandi May) and Robbie Owens (Amanda Lucian); grandchildren, Austin Brown and Aiden Owens; and siblings, Roy Starnes, Harley Starnes, Roger Starnes, Ann Sims, and Phyllis Daugherty.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, May 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
