Judy Mueninghoff Cozee

Judy Mueninghoff Cozee, 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 30, 2016. She was a retiree of Yum Brands. She was a lover of all movies and founder of the JuJu's Review. She was an avid UofL fan, Bats season ticket holder and loved spending time on the beach with a good book. MiMi was her grandchildren's biggest fan and they were the apple of her eye; completing the circle of life. Judy was a friend to all and a stranger to none. She had an infectious laugh and a radiant smile that will light up heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Clara "Totts" Mueninghoff and her pets that are waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Darrell Cozee; children, Stephanie (Richie) Winebrenner, Shelly (David) Pence and Shannon Esterley; grandchildren, Shane, Madison, Bishop, Ryan, Reese and Gage; brothers, Mike (Cindy) Mueninghoff and Joe Mueninghoff; sister, Vicki Schultz; several nieces and nephews and her beloved animal companions, Coco, Molly and Chewy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016, from 1pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Judy's life will be Thursday, February 4, 2016, beginning at 10:30am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery, 7500 Saint Anthony's Church Rd, Louisville, KY.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be Kentucky Humane Society of Louisville (241 Steedly Dr, Louisville, KY 40214) in honor of Judy.
