Judith "Cutie Judy" Stivers

Judith "Cutie Judy" Stivers, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. Judy was a loving wife, mother, mammaw, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of Southern Hills Church of the Nazarene for 68 years. She taught Sunday School, CLT, Bible quizzing, and her annual Christmas plays. Judy loved to play games late into the night and we often got her laughing uncontrollably.

She was born on November 11, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to George and Lena (Silliman) Stephan. She is preceded in death by her Father, George W. Stephan, Mother, Lena W. Stephan; Son, Timothy Stivers; Siblings, Eula Jean Taylor, Norbert Stephan, Melva Moore, and George Stephan, Jr; her four legged best friend, Webbie.

Judy is survived by her loving Husband of 61 years, David D. Stivers; Daughter, Angie (Tracy) McGarey; Son, Steven (Steven Spalding) Stivers; Grandchildren, Becky (Alejandro) Magallanez, Alex (Taylor) McGarey, and Jesse (Stephanie) Doyle; Great-Grandchildren, Gabriel Magallanez, Isabella Magallanez, Sofia Magallanez, Olivia Doyle, Aurora Doyle, Emilia McGarey, and Oliver McGarey, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy), and visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Louisville, KY.
